Oakwood school launches toy drive

Oakwood Junior High School has launched its fourth annual toy drive.

People can drop off new toys at the school's office, at 21600 N. 900 East Road, Danville, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. They also can drop them off at Dollar General, 500 N. Oakwood St., Oakwood, during business hours.

The toys will be taken to Oakwood Elementary School and distributed to needy children.

Last year, the school collected enough toys to give to 100 children, Principal Sam Erwin said. He said he hopes to increase that number this year.

For more information, call the junior high school at 443-2883.
