Three rob man at ATM on campus

CHAMPAIGN — Police are looking for three men who robbed a man Monday night.

The 21-year old victim was at an ATM near Fifth and Green streets at about 9:30 that evening, and the three men approached him from behind.

One demanded money and indicated he had a gun.

He took the victim's wallet, which had cash, an ID and a bank card in it.

All three men were last seen running west on Greet Street toward Fourth Street.

Two of the robbers were described as black males wearing black hoodies and black pants. They were described as being 5 feet, 11 inches and about 170 pounds. The third robber, who implied he had a gun, was a black male who wearing a red track jacket, a red hat and black jeans.

Police are asking that anyone with information to call the department at 351-4545 or Crimestoppers at 217-373-8477.

Crimestoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of any of the robbers.
