CHAMPAIGN — The National Weather Service has extended its dense fog advisory until 4 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the weather service, visibility will be one quarter of a mile or less, with some areas experiencing visibility dropping to near zero.

The reduced visibility could lead to hazardous travel conditions. Be prepared to slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
