Free immigration help set in Danville

DANVILLE — Immigration attorneys, staff and volunteers with The Immigration Project are providing free immigration assistance in Danville on Saturday.

The free immigration assistance will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the David S. Palmer Arena, 100 W. Main St., Danville. No appointment is necessary, and attorneys, staff and volunteers will be present to help with immigration questions.

The Immigration Project is the principal provider of nonprofit immigration legal services in central and southern Illinois, according to its website. It is staffed by immigration attorneys and specializes in immigration legal assistance and provides four types of services: information, counseling and referral; immigration application support; assistance for immigrant crime victims; and the New Americans Citizenship Initiative.
