Two weather advisories issued for East Central Illinois

    The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Ford and Iroquois Counties from 3am Tuesday morning through midnight Tuesday night.
    Light snow is expected to develop Monday night and will become more widespread toward daybreak Tuesday.
    Snow will fall heavily at times, with accumulations of 4 to 7 inches possible.
    Heavy wet snow will produce low visibility and difficult travel conditions, along with 25 to 30 mile per hour winds, resulting in blowing and drifting snow.

    Meanwhile...Champaign, Coles, DeWitt, Douglas, Edgar, Macon, Moultrie, Piatt, Shelby, and Vermilion Counties are all under a Winter  Weather Advisory from 6 Tuesday morning through midnight Tuesday night.
    Total accumulations will be 3 to 5 inches snow with the highest amounts to the north, along and north of I-74. Travel will become difficult as the snowfall becomes moderate to heavy at times.
