Volunteers sought for program that helps older adults

DANVILLE — Faith in Action, an outreach program of Provena United Samaritans Medical Center that helps the older adults, is recruiting new volunteers.

Volunteers through this program help people age 60 and over with transportation and home repair needs and build wheelchair ramps in the Danville area. The program also helps with emergency assistance.

Orientation times for people interested in volunteering will be offered from 9:30 to 11 a.m. March 19 and from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on March 21 and 25.

They will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 100 N. Franklin, Danville.
