DANVILLE — Vermilion Chevrolet-Buick-GMC will present CASA of Vermilion County's second annual Night at the Races & Hometown Celebrity Auction on April 12 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 310 Bryan St., Danville.
The event, which is casual, is open to the public. Tickets are $10. Horses can be "bought" for $10, and owners may name their horse, if desired.
A happy hour will begin at 6 p.m. with post time for the first race at 7 p.m. Guests will enjoy snacks and cheer for their favorite horses while viewing videos of actual thoroughbred races.
Guests will have numerous opportunities to win prizes. A drawing will be held from among ticket holders for a new iPad with Retina screen.
