Winter storm watch issued for East Central Illinois

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for all of East Central Illinois except Ford and Iroquois counties from late Saturday through Monday morning.

Ford and Iroquois counties are under a separate winter storm watch from Sunday morning through Monday morning.

Snow accumulation of five to eight inches and wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour are expected.

So you should be careful while driving, and if you stay home be sure to have plenty of supplies.
