Vintage Vinyl donations sought

CHAMPAIGN — The Illinois Radio Reader's Vintage Vinyl used record sale will accept, starting Tuesday, donations of records, CDs, DVDs, video games and players, stereo equipment, speakers and CD and DVD players.

The donations may be taken between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays to the sale location at 40 E. University Ave., just east of 7 Saints Restaurant and across the street from the Illinois Terminal.

Donations also may be dropped off in sturdy boxes at the following Busey Bank locations during bank hours from Tuesday through April 30: 2710 S. Philo Road and 201 W. Main St., U; 909 W. Kirby Ave., 614 S. Sixth St. and 2011 W. Springfield Ave., C; and 312 E. Main St., Mahomet.

The May 4 sale is the primary fundraiser for Illinois Radio Reader, a service of Illinois Public Media that provides news and information to blind and print-handicapped audiences in East Central Illinois.
