Georgetown library has signups for summer reading program

GEORGETOWN — The Georgetown Public Library will hold a sign-up for its 2013 summer reading program from June 10-15.

This year's theme is "Have Book Will Travel." It is open to children through the fifth grade.

People can sign up during regular business hours at the library, 102 W. West St. Hours are 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Friday; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

The program will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. June 17 and 24 and July 1 at the Georgetown city park. A party will be held on July 8.

Each week, the program includes reading time, crafts, games and snacks.
