Man robbed in Champaign
CHAMPAIGN — Champaign police are looking for two men who robbed a man of his wallet and ear buds Monday afternoon.
A police report said the attack occurred in the 1300 block of Lincolnshire Drive about 1:10 p.m.
The 24-year-old victim said one man held his arms behind his back while another stole his items. One of the robbers had a bat.
Both men took off in a black Dodge Neon or Stratus, the report said.
One of the robbers was described as being a black man, about 28, 6 feet tall, 250 pounds, wearing his black hair in braids. He was described as having a muscular build and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jean shorts.
The other robber was described as a black man, about 25, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He was described as skinny and was wearing a white T-shirt and jean shorts.
