Parkinson's support group getting started

CHAMPAIGN — A new support group for Parkinson's disease patients will begin meeting June 17.

The group will meet every Monday at 10 a.m. for an hour in the multipurpose room at Savoy United Methodist Church, 3002 W. Old Church Road, C.

The meetings are free and will include socializing, exercise and communication.

Activities will be led by Parkinson's patients and other volunteers.
