Georgetown Lions offering free hearing screenings

GEORGETOWN — The Georgetown Lions Club and Lions of Illinois Foundation will offer free hearing screenings June 25.

The screenings will be available to anyone age 10 and older from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Newsrack Servicecenter, 221 S. Main St., Georgetown.

Children under age 18 will need written permission filled out by a parent or guardian.

The test takes a few minutes, and results are available immediately.

The tests should satisfy the state school requirements for hearing tests, according to the Lions Club.
