Eisenhauer keeping an eye on Governor's race for gambling bill purposes

The Mayor of Danville said he's keeping an eye on the Governor's race to see how it will impact the gambling bill that would bring a casino to the city.

Scott Eisenhauer said he hasn't picked a candidate that he thinks will advance the bill the most.  Although he noted that Senator Bill Brady voted present on the bill.

Eisenhauer added that he plans to talk to the governor candidates about the gaming issue.

Eisenhauer also said that the gambling issue may be dragging out too long.

Eisenhauer made the comments Thursday on the WDWS Morning Show.

The gaming bill has passed the Senate and is awaiting action in the House.  Governor Pat Quinn has vetoed previous versions of the bill.
