Heat advisory in effect for Ford and Iroquois counties

A heat advisory is in effect for Ford and Iroquois Counties until Friday night.

The National Weather Service said with the heat index factored in, it could feel as hot as 105 degrees on Thursday and 108 degrees on Friday.

So be sure to drink plenty of water, spend time in a cool indoor area and check on pets and the elderly.
