Top investigator retires from Champaign County Sheriff's Office

The Champaign County Sheriff's Office is losing its top investigator.

After spending nearly three decades in law enforcement, all in Champaign County, Lieutenant Ed Ogle is retiring.

Ogle said he has several top moments in his career, but his impact on others stands out.

Ogle has been teaching at the University of Illinois Police Training Institute in addition to his sheriff's office duties.  And he said he plans to continue that in retirement.
