Gunman gets no money from Urbana man

URBANA — A unknown person attempted to rob an Urbana man about 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Philo Road, near the County Market.

The victim told police that a man held a gun to his back and demanded money.

The victim told the man he had none and the gunman fled the scene.

Urbana police Lt. Bryant Seraphin said the victim described the man as a black male about 5 feet 9 inches with "stocky build," wearing a white shirt, black jeans and a black do-rag.
