DACC to offer evening CNA course in the fall

DANVILLE — Danville Area Community College's Hoopeston Higher Education Center will offer a certified nursing assistant evening course in the fall 2013 semester.

An orientation session will be held at 12 p.m. Aug. 8 at Prairie Hall, Room 106, on DACC's main campus, 2000 E. Main St., Danville.

To qualify, candidates must reside within the DACC District 507. Admission to the class requires testing, a live scan fingerprint and background check and an application.

According to DACC, the program is highly competitive, and there are a limited number of slots. Preference will be given to those living in the northern part of the college's district.
