UI economist sees more soon in tax vs. spend debate

A University of Illinois economist is predicting a "double dose" of uncertainty this fall or winter when it comes to taxes and spending.

That's according to Fred Giertz, who said with election season ramping up in Illinois, the issue of whether to raise taxes or cut spending will come to the forefront.  And Giertz said we'll likely see the same debate on the national level as well.



Giertz made the comments Friday on the WDWS Morning Show.
