Champaign house fire cause undetermined

The Champaign Fire Marshal said the cause of last week's blaze at Mattis and Clark will remain undetermined.

Fire Marshal John Koller did say, though, that officials are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the fire.

Crews were called to the one story home at around 5 a.m. last Thursday.  They had the fire out within an hour, but not before it caused heavy damage to the north end of the home where it started.  The rest of the home also suffered smoke damage.  No injuries were reported.
