Traffic to be reduced on Beslin Street in Urbana

URBANA — Traffic will be reduced on a portion of Beslin Street in Urbana for about a week starting Thursday.

Beslin Street will be reduced to a single lane of traffic between Romine Street and Goodwin Avenue beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday for pavement reconstruction.

Through traffic will be allowed, but it will be restricted to a single lane at the intersection of Mathews Avenue and Beslin.

The lane is scheduled to reopen at 5 p.m. Aug. 28.
