ACT prep class offered this fall in Danville

DANVILLE — Danville Area Community College's Department of Community Education is offering an ACT prep class for those who want to get a jump start on test preparation or work on improving their score.

The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays from Oct. 5 through Nov. 2 at DACC's Village Mall Education Center. The cost is $150.

The nationally recognized Cambridge ACT Preparation Program will be taught by certified, experienced instructors Judy Turner, Nancy Konieczki and Linda Werts.

Each student will receive an ACT Victory Textbook, Big Book of Skills Textbook, two official retired ACT tests and a personalized student data report.

The class is broken down into a 2 1/2-hour pre-test, 12 hours of instruction and a 2 1/2-hour post-test.
