UI student charged for punching cab driver and stealing the cab

A University of Illinois student has been charged in connection with an incident early Saturday morning where he is accused of stealing a cab and assaulting the driver of that cab.

21-year-old Thomas Hart of Elmhurst has been charged with aggravated battery, unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Hart is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on November 13th.

Police say at around 2:20 on Saturday morning, Hart punched a cab driver several times in the 25-hundred block of East Washington Street in Urbana.

The driver got out of the cab as did the two passengers who were in the vehicle with Hart.

Hart then got into the driver seat and headed east on Washington where he later struck another vehicle and crashed into a cornfield.

Too funny.

My favorite part of this profile is that he considers  his 3rd best strength to be "discipline" (LOL #1 is "harmony").

This was all thanks to a simple google search.
