DACC offers GED review classes

DANVILLE — Danville Area Community College's Adult Education Department is currently offering evening GED review classes at Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School on from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays.

The class is free.

The GED Review Program consists of a review and instruction in English, social sciences, natural science, literature, mathematics and the U.S. and Illinois Constitutions. The course is designed to prepare adults who have not completed high school to take the GED test.

Extensive changes are planned for the GED test beginning in January 2014. Anyone who has completed any portion of the existing program is encouraged to finish before those changes take effect.

For more information or to register, call the adult education department at 443-8784.
