Parkland sets information night

CHAMPAIGN — Parkland College will hold an information night for prospective students and their parents later this month.

Called SPIN — Student/Parent Information Night— the program will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in Room D244 at the main campus, 2400 W. Bradley Ave., C.

The event is free and open to the public.

High school students and counselors and parents of high school students can obtain information on college, including information on the career fields, financial aid, admissions, student life, transferring and more. Parents and students will speak about their Parkland experiences. Attendees also can register to win a $250 scholarship to Parkland.
