Drawing offers chance to win free groceries

DANVILLE — People have a chance to win free groceries through a raffle drawing sponsored by Covington Foods' County Market stores and the Festival of Trees.

Tickets are $1 apiece.

Three winners will be drawn at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Village Mall County Market. The first name drawn will win $3,000 in groceries from County Market, and the second and third names drawn will each receive $1,000 in groceries.

Proceeds will benefit Presence United Samaritans Medical Center's Foundation, presenter of the annual Festival of Trees.

"We're so grateful to Covington Foods and the County Market stores for their support," event coordinator Angie Lazzell said. "Response so far has been phenomenal, and we're excited to see who will win."

Tickets can be purchased at checkouts at County Market stores in Danville and Tilton, and in Attica, Crawfordsville and Covington, Ind.

They can also be purchased at the foundation office, 551 N. Logan Ave., Danville; the gift shop at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, 812 N. Logan Ave., Danville; and outside of the hospital cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tickets are also available online at http://www.presencehealth.org/festivaloftrees. A minimum of 10 tickets can be purchased online.
