Two men treated for apparent gunshot injuries in Rantoul

RANTOUL — Two men were transported from a Rantoul motel to an Urbana hospital Friday evening for medical treatment, suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.

Rantoul police said the injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.

Police officers were dispatched to the Rantoul Motel, 301 N. Century Blvd., at 6:48 p.m. for a report of gunshots.

The two men were located inside a motel room with apparent gunshot injuries.

They were transported by ambulance to Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
