Holiday-grief program set Nov. 19

DANVILLE — The pastoral care department at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center is sponsoring "Handling the Holidays" for people who may find the holiday season a special challenge because of the death of a loved one.

The program will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in Conference Room 5 (third floor) of the medical center, 812 N. Logan Ave., Danville.

It is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

Participants should meet in the main lobby prior to 7 p.m. They will be escorted to the conference room.

The program includes discussion, handouts by experts in the field of grief recovery and a video, "A Ray of Hope."
