Wind blows trucks off I-74

ST. JOSEPH — Two semitrailer tractor trucks were apparently blown off the road by high winds early Wednesday.

A telecommunicator at the Illinois State Police post at Pesotum said both trucks went off Interstate 74 westbound around mile marker 195, which is between St. Joseph and Ogden in eastern Champaign County.

Neither of the drivers was reported injured.

One was blown off about 7:30 a.m. and the other shortly after 9 a.m. They were not blocking traffic.
