Third man arrested in Rantoul burglary
RANTOUL — Rantoul police have arrested a third man wanted in connection with a residential burglary in the village earlier this month.
Sgt. Justin Bouse said Ladarian T. Bryant, 22, who listed an address in the 600 block of St. Andrews Circle in Rantoul, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in that block as he was walking down the sidewalk toward his home.
A warrant had been issued for his arrest Nov. 6 after he was charged with residential burglary for allegedly breaking into a home in the 700 block of St. Andrews Circle on Nov. 4 and taking part in the theft of televisions, video game systems, guitars and other electronic items.
Co-defendants Demarcus Buie, 18, and Robbie Barrett, 25, also of the 600 block of St. Andrews, were arrested the day after the alleged break-in.
Bouse said most of the items were recovered at a Rantoul resale shop.
Bryant was expected to make his first court appearance Thursday afternoon. Buie and Barrett are due back in court Dec. 10.
If convicted of residential burglary, the men face a mandatory prison term of between four and 15 years.
