Crime Report Nov. 28, 2013

Area police report the following activity:


— 600 block of East John Street: Champaign man arrested for aggravated battery for allegedly hitting a UI student in the back of the head about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.


— 1300 block of North Cunningham Avenue: Unlocked vehicle entered Tuesday; purse stolen.

— Independent Media Center, 202 S. Broadway Ave.: Various parts of the building spray-painted between Nov. 14 and Tuesday, when damage was reported.

— 100 block of South Gregory Street: Vehicle in parking lot damaged.

— 1800 block of Summit Drive: Two vehicles in that block entered Monday or Tuesday; keys stolen from one.

— 2000 block of Summit Drive: Two vehicles in same driveway entered Monday or Tuesday; rummaged but nothing taken.

— 1900 block of Summit Drive: Unlocked vehicle entered between Friday and Tuesday; nothing apparently stolen.

— 3100 block of Chatham Drive: DVD system stolen out of vehicle Monday or Tuesday.
