Nurse's licenses suspended; cosmetologist licensee fined

SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation says the following disciplinary orders were filed for October:

— Paulette Bell of Urbana, registered nurse license and licensed practical nurse licenses indefinitely suspended for a minimum of 30 days as a result of two sister-state disciplines related to unprofessional conduct.

— Seon Williams of Champaign, cosmetology license restored with reprimand and fined $5,500 for practicing while his license was refused renewal, and allowing unlicensed persons to practice in his unlicensed barbershop, effective upon payment of fees and filing of forms.

Illinois politicians should be licensed also.  Some fines, and suspensions seem to be in order for them as well.
