Ellen Lee to run for judge

PAXTON — A Paxton resident has joined the race for circuit judge in Ford County.
Ellen M. Lee of Paxton, a long-time Gibson City attorney, announced she is running for the seat being vacated by Judge Stephen Pacey.

For the past 19 years she has been in civil practice at Eckhardt & Lee in Gibson City, mostly as a sole practitioner, concentrating in estate, wills and real estate practice.

Lee, wife of former Ford County State’s Attorney Tony Lee, was an assistant state’s attorney in DuPage County from 1982 to 1985. She previously served as city attorney for Gibson City and the village of Gifford and currently serves as village attorney for Roberts, Elliott and Sibley.
