Aggravated criminal sexual abuse charge dismissed

URBANA — A felony charge lodged against a Philo man in October has been dismissed.

Assistant State's Attorney Scott Bennett said he dismissed a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against Jesse Corley, 21, of rural Philo, on Tuesday, because the alleged victim was unwilling to testify against him.

Corley had been charged in October for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old runaway who had been staying with him.
