Autopsy on 4-month-old finds no evidence of trauma
URBANA — The Champaign County coroner said preliminary results from an autopsy conducted on a 4-month-old girl who died over the weekend indicated no evidence of trauma.
Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said that an autopsy was conducted Monday at the county coroner's office on Lovely A. Davis, 4 months, of Urbana.
While the cause of death is pending additional laboratory studies and investigation, Northrup said the autopsy detected no evidence of trauma. Lovely was pronounced dead at 8:36 a.m. Saturday at the Carle Foundation Hospital Emergency Department after she was found unresponsive at home.
