Harold to hold town hall at Champaign

CHAMPAIGN — Republican congressional candidate Erika Harold, an Urbana attorney, will hold a town hall meeting tonight (Monday, Jan. 27) at the Champaign Public Library.

The meeting, the seventh in a series, will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Champaign Public Library, 200 W. Green St., C.

Harold is challenging incumbent U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Taylorville, in the 13th Congressional District that stretches from Champaign-Urbana on the northeast to Edwardsville and Collinsville on the southwest.

Harold, a former Miss America and a Harvard Law School graduate, plans to hold town halls in each county of the 13th District before the March 18 primary election.
