A winter weather advisory has been issued for all counties in East Central Illinois except DeWitt.  For Ford and Iroquois counties, the advisory runs until 6 p.m. Saturday.  For the rest of the counties, it's in effect from 9 p.m. Friday through noon Saturday.

DeWitt County is under a winter storm warning from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Across Central Illinois this weekend, we'll see a mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain.  Up to seven inches of snow is possible in spots, but in the Champaign area one to three inches of snow is expected.  Up to a half-inch of ice is expected as well.
