Here are the incentives the city has given out since 2000 under its infill redevelopment program. Some have expired, some are underway and the newest have yet to cost anything.

What: University of Illinois South Research Park.

First payment: Aug. 14, 2001.

Incentive: $3 per square foot of new high-tech office and research space.

Maximum payout: $750,000.

To-date payout: $689,253.

Expires: When $750,000 is paid out.

Construction value: $36,324,030

What: Corporate Park Centre (UI Research Park).

First payment: Oct. 19, 2001.

Incentive: $50,000 technology incentive and $3 per square foot of new qualifying business space.

Maximum payout: $150,000.

Actual payout: $82,512.

Expired: Sept. 18, 2002.

What: Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites.

First payment: May 1, 2007.

Incentive: Quarterly rebate of hotel-motel tax above $17,546 threshold.

Maximum payout: $2,008,074.70.

Actual payout: $1,122,189.49.

Expired: May 1, 2012.

Construction value: $16,199,040

What: M2 development.

First payment: Feb. 22, 2008.

Incentive: Contributions from special tax fund.

Maximum payout: $3,710,000

First payment: July 1, 2010.

Incentive: $1,500 per job created.

Incentive: $1,500 per qualifying job created.

Incentive: Sales tax and food-and-beverage tax rebate.

Expires: Dec. 31, 2027.

What: Hyatt Place hotel.

First payment: To be determined.

Incentive: Property tax, hotel-motel and food-and-beverage tax rebates.

Incentive: Rebate of new property taxes resulting from building improvements.
