Two injured in single vehicle crash

URBANA — Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday in Urbana.

According to a state police report, Keisha R. Taylor, 28, who listed an address in Champaign, was driving east on U.S. 150 approaching Cottonwood Road at 11:47 a.m. Sunday when she lost control of the vehicle on a snowy, wet and slippery roadway.

The vehicle rolled over and came to rest in the south ditch turned upside down.

Taylor was extricated by the Urbana Fire Department personnel.

Taylor and a passenger, Elizabeth A. Potter, 27, who listed an address in Ogden, were taken to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, where they were treated for what police called non-life-threatening injuries.

No information was available on their condition on Sunday night.

Police ticketed Taylor for driving too fast for conditions and operating an uninsured vehicle.
