Workshop set for parents on educational transitions

URBANA — A LEAP (Linking Educators and Parents) workshop on educational transitions will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (today, Feb. 25) at the Urbana Free Library in the Lewis Auditorium.

A team of school psychologists from the elementary, middle school and high-school levels will share some of the procedures used in identifying children with learning differences such as dyslexia and autism. They will provide insights on what to expect when determining the kinds of support that may be needed.

The workshop is free and open to the public. To register, call Marilyn Kay at 367-0398 or send a message to mfkay@sbcglobal.net
