Death alters Ford absentee voting

PAXTON — Due to the unexpected death of Ford County Clerk Linda Kellerhals' son, Scott, the county clerk's office will be open for absentee voting Saturday from noon to 4:30 p.m.

Absentee voting for the March 18 primary had originally been scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The clerk's office will also be open until 5 p.m. Monday for absentee voting.

Mr. Kellerhals, 39, of Paxton, died Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
