Ludlow budget on hold pending bids for furnaces, AC
LUDLOW — The village board tabled adoption of its 2014 budget until it can secure bids for heating and cooling equipment at the community building.
The budget currently stands at $142,000, but that is without factoring in the cost for two furnaces and air conditioning units.
Mayor Pete Walker said the HVAC equipment is the original, installed when the community building opened more than 30 years ago. Replacement is expected to cost between $15,000 and $20,000.
Last year's budget expenditures totaled $180,072.
