A release from Danville Public Safety Director Larry Thomason said Cordario Townsend, 25, was arrested about 10 p.m. Friday for aggravated battery with a firearm. He remained in the Vermilion County Jail Saturday.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Moore Street about 6:30 p.m. for shots fired. They found two 19-year-old men and a 33-year-old woman, all wounded.
The woman and one of the men had been shot in the leg. The other man was shot in the chest. He was transferred to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana and according to Thomason, remained there in stable condition Saturday.
The other teen and the woman were treated for their injuries and released.
