G-RF school board gets new member
GEORGETOWN — Newcomer Nicole Wolfe was appointed to the Georgetown-Ridge Farm School Board, filling a seat left vacant when Diane Dawson resigned in April.
Wolfe, who was raised in Danville, moved to the Georgetown area with her husband two years ago. She has one child at Pine Crest Elementary School, and a younger child at home with her.
Superintendent Jean Neal said Wolfe will bring the perspective of a parent with young children to the board, and that she seems very enthusiastic.
Board policies state that appointed members must run in the next-available regular school board election, which in this case will be April 2015.
