Renovation moves from one entrance to another at Danville hospital

DANVILLE — Presence United Samaritans Medical Center's North entrance is now open following the completion of an exterior renovation project.

However, the east ramp entrance — labeled "2 Outpatient Entrance" and facing Logan Avenue — is temporarily closed as a project to improve that facade continues.

That work is being funded by a grant through Gov. Pat Quinn's Hospital Capital Investment Program and the medical center's foundation.

Improvements to the north entrance included installation of an expanded canopy, renovation of the vestibule and replacement of the door and windows.
