Ludlow budget includes heating, cooling system

LUDLOW — The board adopted its 2014-15 budget, which includes purchasing a new heating and cooling system for the community building.

The budget totals about $158,000. That's less than last year's $180,072, which was higher due to repainting and cleaning of the village water tower.

The board voted to accept a bid of $16,722 from Hoveln Heating & Cooling for the HVAC equipment. Ludlow Township, which shares ownership and use of the center, will pay $5,000 toward the project.

The board will also consider whether to erect fencing around the HVAC equipment outside.

Board members also discussed the condition of several properties.
