Public information giving a description of the perpetrator was posted here by me, and subsequently deleted by the NG editorial staff.

The News-Gazette is following abritrary guidelines that supercede the public's need to know descriptions of perpetrators.

If you want descriptive information regarding perpetrators of crimes in C-U, read the police media reports and don't bother with the News-Gazette, as the public information provided by police departments will be censored.

EDIT:  I was mistaken about the deletion. The NG has posted two identical stories on this crime differing only in date of posting.  So my description remains posted on the earlier story.

WHY does the NG post the same story twice???
