WDWS, News-Gazette to merge websites

The website for Champaign radio station WDWS will soon look a little different.

As a part of the joint news-gathering effort between The News-Gazette and WDWS, the website wdws.com will soon take you to a shared News-Gazette-WDWS website.  It will look similar to the current News-Gazette website.

News-Gazette President and Publisher John Foreman said news reports from WDWS and The News-Gazette often complement each other, and so it makes sense to have them in one place.

Foreman made the comments Thursday on A Penny For Your Thoughts on WDWS.

As a part of the joint news-gathering effort between WDWS and The News-Gazette, you will continue to hear newspaper reporters and editors on the air talking about the latest news stories and what stories are on tap for the next day.
