COLE HENKE won't skip the NCAA tournament. But his current location makes it tricky.

"I haven't missed one in years and don't plan on missing one now," Henke said.

The UI broadcast journalism major from Belleville is spending the semester in Canberra, Australia. He is studying at the Australian National University and "having an amazing time."

Canberra is 16 hours ahead of Champaign-Urbana, so an 11 a.m. tip here means 3 a.m. Australian time.

"I'm planning to wake up early and catch all of the first day," Henke said.

Henke will watch the games on the NCAA app and stream the broadcasts to a common area in his dorm.

"I probably won't leave until the tournament is over," Henke said.

Henke arrived in Australia in early February and will stay until mid-June.

Henke has been to a cricket match and wants to take in an Australian-rules football game before he returns to Illinois.

On to my weekend recommendations:

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' 10:30 p.m., NBC

All the other talk shows are airing reruns (avoiding the NCAA tournament telecasts perhaps). Fallon welcomes TARAJI P. HENSON and PITBULL. Excellent.

NCAA wrestling championships, 7 p.m., ESPN

If all goes as expected, you can tune in for eight minutes in the middle of the broadcast and watch Illini ISAIAH MARTINEZ win this third title.

"Little Big Shots," 7 p.m., NBC

The second season of this show features kids in a talent contest. STEVE HARVEY is host, and we assume he will announce the correct winner.
