On Fridays, staff writer Marcus Jackson (@MarcusJ_NG) provided a glance at the best Twitter has to offer. Here's one last look as his tenure at The News-Gazette comes to an end:

TOP TWEETS

POLITICS

— The president and vice president seem to be more concerned with NFL players exercising their constitutional rights than white supremacists spreading hate. Sounds backward.

MUSIC

— Eminem unleashed a freestyle earlier in the week that absolutely lambasts Donald Trump. If this were a real rap battle, no chance Trump responds with anything better. Not sure if we should start deciding presidents this way, though.

HOLLYWOOD

— The big story this week involved the numerous sexual-harassment claims against Harvey Weinstein, and women have been brave in speaking out along with their Hollywood peers.

LOCAL

— That's right, folks. My time here at The News-Gazette has ended. It's been a fun ride.

SPORTS

— Foerster, the Dolphins' offensive line coach, resigned from his job this week after video of him snorting white powder off his desk surfaced online. The guy is a line coach; you'd think he'd have had a better presentation than what's shown in the video.
